My name is Steve Moseley and just like a lot of you, I make things at home. I just want to share my projects and hope it gives you a little inspiration to build the things you want to. Like most people, sometimes I have some success and sometimes some failures.
A little about my background . . .
I grew up on a hog farm in Illinois. You just got to love that smell of money. Some of you know what I’m talking about. I worked on a variety of things with my dad on the farm and most of it involved farm maintenance, building hog sheds, and a little house remodeling. A lot of that was trial and error and learning as we went. My parents were phenomenal in how they raised me and my three sisters. With a lot of hard work you can get through just about anything.
I went to college at Iowa State University - Go Clones! I earned a civil engineering degree and have worked on a number of projects in several states including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Colorado, and Arizona.
My amazing wife Stacie and I got married in 1998 and we lived in Colorado for about 6 years. We moved back to Iowa to be near family in 2004. We have two amazing boys, Carter and Chris, who inspire us more every day.
I’ve made a few things since we moved to Iowa, but recently decided to focus on my passion for building things when I have spare time. Every day I add to my list of projects and chip away at that list when I’m not at my full time job.
Hopefully my information and projects will help inspire you to make that leap and start working on the projects you have been thinking about. You can share your projects with me using the links below.
Keep Building,
Steve
